Topic: My planet

My planet's name is Jimland. It is green, blue and a bit red. It's a giant, it's warm, it has got life, three moons but it hasn't got mountains and rings. It's close to Venus and Jupiter. It has got an atmosphere too.

At Jimland lives a tribe whose name is Bou Pou Nou Nou. They have got purple tatoos on theor body, they wear white shirts with a little red, they have two hands, two legs and three eyes. They are tall and thay have short hair.

They are friendly, happy, sometimes angry but they aren't bad and they aren't thieves. They like board games, computer games and metal tags but they dislike fighting and bad people.

Topic: Blood Brothers, based on the song by Iron Maiden
See lyrics at: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/i/iron+maiden/blood+brothers_20067944.html

The song "Blood Brothers" was written by Harris, Stephen Percy and the group Iron Maiden sang it.

In the first verse of the song, the lyricist talks about "the garden of life". This is a metaphor. In the second he talks about the "memories from the past" through the line "just for a second a glimpse of my father I see". In the third verse he talks about the "mistakes of life". Then, he tells us how "ashamed" he is for our mistakes. After that, he makes us start thinking "what life really is". Finally, in the last verse he tells us to "never stop trying and learn from our mistakes".

In this song there are many metaphors, for example, "the garden of life". Through metaphors, the lyricist wants to explain things more easily because he creates pictures. Then, there are rhetoric questions, for example, "can you really tell me what life is?". Rhetoric questions stress the important parts and make them more vivid. Moreover, he uses rhymes, for example "at the wolrd in dismay", "a look at the war- torn affray. In this way he gives rythm and vividness.

Life is very difficult. All people make mistakes but then they must deal with them. If you want someone to help you look around and find someone who can help you and give you some advice. Sometimes, it's not necessary to find someone who is alive. You can find someone who supports your feelings and your beliefs. You must find a blood brother. For example, Alexander the Great had a blood brother, Achilles. He used to sleep with the Iliad under his pillow.

Finally, I want to say that I love this song. It's very helpful and gives very nice advice.

The greatest treasure!!

The greatest treasure fairytale is the story of a boy named Peter who found a treasure map and right after, he started a quest. He went through a dense forest. On his way he saw a lion and he asked it if it would like to go with him to the treasure hunt because lions are strong and courageous animals. The lion agreed and together they continued the hunt to a craggy mountain where they met the eagle. Then. Peter asked the eagle to join them because of its sharp vision and flying skills. They all together went to a valley and they met a sheep which also joined them. When a cold wind swept across the endless meadow, the sheep kept them warm and cosy. The four, finally reached the desert where they saw a camel and Peter suggested to follow them to the great treasure hunt. The camel accepted and helped them pass the vast desert. Finally, Peter, the lion, the eagle, the sheep and the camel reached the ocean. The spectacle was thrilling! There, they met a turtle and Peter asked it to join them and the turtle accepted too. The turtle helped them to cross the ocean. At the end, all of them met an owl which told them that they' ve found the greatest treasure, their friendship. They have gone through a lot of adventures until there and that they could have made it without each other! They dared to risk their lives by trying to save each other and they found the treasure of real frienship.

The meaning of this story is that the biggest treasure is not jewels, diamonds or money but the real friendship which can stay forever in contrast to physical goods which come and go. One more reason that makes friendship more valuable than gold is that when you are sad, your friends make you laugh no matter what.
