The song "Blood Brothers" was written by Harris, Stephen Percy and the group Iron Maiden sang it.

In the first verse of the song, the lyricist talks about "the garden of life". This is a metaphor. In the second he talks about the "memories from the past" through the line "just for a second a glimpse of my father I see". In the third verse he talks about the "mistakes of life". Then, he tells us how "ashamed" he is for our mistakes. After that, he makes us start thinking "what life really is". Finally, in the last verse he tells us to "never stop trying and learn from our mistakes".

In this song there are many metaphors, for example, "the garden of life". Through metaphors, the lyricist wants to explain things more easily because he creates pictures. Then, there are rhetoric questions, for example, "can you really tell me what life is?". Rhetoric questions stress the important parts and make them more vivid. Moreover, he uses rhymes, for example "at the wolrd in dismay", "a look at the war- torn affray. In this way he gives rythm and vividness.

Life is very difficult. All people make mistakes but then they must deal with them. If you want someone to help you look around and find someone who can help you and give you some advice. Sometimes, it's not necessary to find someone who is alive. You can find someone who supports your feelings and your beliefs. You must find a blood brother. For example, Alexander the Great had a blood brother, Achilles. He used to sleep with the Iliad under his pillow.

Finally, I want to say that I love this song. It's very helpful and gives very nice advice.
