Stative (non- action) verbs are the verbs we don't usually use in the continuous tenses.
Most of them describe whatever comes from our head (hear, smell, sound, feel, taste) or our heart (feel, love, hate, like, dislike, forgive, prefer). They can also describe possession or measurements.
